Shambhala Ranch Paint-Away
After our paint-away to Shambhala Ranch in Mendocino County, it seemed like the right time to get a blog going so we can share our paintings, thoughts and stories. I was going to add a page to the Monday Morning Painters website to share this particualr experience, but thought this would be much better. You are invited to post at any time, after any excursion. Thanks for the blog, Katrina! Yesterday’s June 23rd lavendar paint out amongst all the smoke from the some 800 fires burning in California was VERY well attended despite the smoke & haze, & my first attempt at painting lavendar.

Okay, so I nudged this painting some after critique & wine tasting, breathing in that smoke….what ‘cha think? Left lower foreground still a problem? Bush w/too much texture right lower middle? Hm mm, I AM enjoying this blog….hee hee….
